Johnny On The Spot

Either my proximity to famous people is improving or my ability to spot them is improving. I think it’s the latter. Normally, when I see someone famous I think they look remarkably similar to someone famous and people must mistake them all the time. And then later, it hits me.

But this week I’ve seen two famous peeps up close and realized it right away.

#1 Justin Long on the subway at 2nd Ave. Best part was some doofus asked him for directions clearly wanting to get in some weird face time. The doofus was sitting quite a bit away from J.L. and could have asked at least 8 or 9 people instead of going to J.L. but to J.L.’s credit, he was very nice and helped the duder out.

#2 Got out of an audition and almost ran into Paul Giamatti who had just come out of a deli. Exciting, right? Still… I am happy my facial recognition skills are improving. No more mistaking my wife for a hat.
